Our own infrastructure in Spain for systems that cannot stop

We design, build and operate our own high-performance data centres. On them we deliver eIDAS trust services and Mensatek's certified communications, and on them we host and operate our clients' systems.

High-performance data centres

Why an engineering firm builds its own data centres

When a service has to issue qualified timestamps, certify millions of communications or run a vision system in production, infrastructure stops being a detail: it is part of the product. That is why, years ago, we decided to design and operate our own high-performance data centres in Spain instead of depending on third parties we cannot audit.

Every layer is built for continuity: dual-feed power with uninterruptible power supplies and a generator; redundant cooling; connectivity from several carriers over diverse routes; replicated storage with verified backups; and physical and logical access controls within the scope of our ISO/IEC 27001 certification.

That same infrastructure is available to our clients: we host and operate their systems (the ones we build and the ones they already have), with 24/7 monitoring from our operations centre and an engineering team that knows every component.

What you get

  • Data sovereignty: information hosted and processed in Spain, under European jurisdiction and GDPR.
  • Real redundancy in power, cooling, network and storage, with tested continuity plans.
  • 24/7 operation by engineers, not by a call centre.
  • Certified security: the data centre is within the scope of ISO 27001 and of the eIDAS audits.
  • A single point of contact for the system, the infrastructure and security.
What is included

Data centre services

From hosting a single server to the full operation of a critical platform.

Housing and colocation

Hosting of client equipment in racks with redundant power, cooling, connectivity and physical access control.

Managed hosting

Physical and virtual servers administered by our team: operating system, patches, backups, monitoring and support.

Private cloud

Dedicated virtualised environments with guaranteed resources, isolation and planned growth, on our own infrastructure.

24/7 monitoring

Supervision of infrastructure, systems and applications from our operations centre, with multichannel alerts and incident management.

Continuity and recovery

Encrypted and verified backups, replication and rehearsed disaster recovery plans.

Connectivity and networks

Connections with several carriers, private networks, VPN and segmentation to link the data centre with your sites and systems.

High performance

Compute and storage platforms for intensive workloads: computer vision, AI, high-volume messaging and batch processing.

Trust infrastructure

The same platform that supports our qualified timestamps and certified communications, audited under eIDAS.

Migration and consolidation

Moving systems and data from other infrastructures or clouds, with a migration plan and a controlled cut-over window.

Technical guarantees

Designed layer by layer for continuity

Availability is not promised: it is built with redundancy in every component and checked with periodic drills.

  • Power: Dual feed, uninterruptible power supplies and generator with periodic switch-over tests.
  • Cooling: Redundant (N+1) units with hot/cold aisle distribution and temperature and humidity monitoring.
  • Network: Connectivity from several carriers over diverse physical routes; redundant, segmented network equipment.
  • Storage: Replicated systems, encrypted backups and scheduled, verified restores.
  • Physical security: Access control, video surveillance, fire detection and suppression, and a log of every access.
  • Operation: 24/7 monitoring, change and incident management and preventive maintenance within the ISO 27001 system.

How we deliver it

How we bring a system into our data centre

With a plan, a cut-over window and a defined rollback: migrating cannot be an adventure.

Inventory

Systems, dependencies, data volumes, performance, security and compliance requirements.

Design

Sizing of compute, storage and network; high-availability and backup architecture; migration plan.

Migration

Phased move with parallel testing, an agreed cut-over window and a rollback procedure.

Operation

24/7 monitoring, maintenance, verified backups and periodic capacity and security review.

Typical use cases

What runs in our data centres

TRUST

eIDAS trust services

Mensatek's qualified timestamping units and evidence custody, audited under the eIDAS Regulation.

COMMUNICATIONS

High-volume messaging platform

The systems that send and certify SMS, email, RCS, WhatsApp and voice for thousands of companies every day.

VISION & AI

Intensive compute

Computer vision models, biometrics and AI agents that demand performance and data processed in Spain.

CLIENTS

Bespoke systems

Applications and platforms built by ASETEC for key accounts, operated with 24/7 monitoring.

HOUSING

Client equipment

Servers and systems owned by the client, hosted with redundant power, cooling, network and physical security.

CONTINUITY

Replica and fallback

Backups and recovery environments for systems the client operates elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Questions we are usually asked

Where are the data centres?

In Spain, operated directly by ASETEC. Data is hosted and processed under European jurisdiction and GDPR, and the facilities are within the scope of our ISO/IEC 27001 certification and of the audits as an eIDAS trust service provider.

Can I host my own equipment?

Yes. We offer housing of client equipment in racks with redundant power, cooling, connectivity and physical access control, and managed hosting if you prefer us to administer the systems too.

What availability do you offer?

The infrastructure is designed with redundancy in power, cooling, network and storage, and with rehearsed continuity plans. The specific service levels (availability, response and recovery times) are agreed in writing for each system.

How is data protected?

With physical controls (access, video surveillance, fire detection and suppression) and logical ones (segmentation, encryption, access control, audit logging) managed under our ISO 27001 system, plus encrypted backups with verified restores.

Can you migrate systems from another cloud or provider?

Yes. We plan the migration in phases, with parallel testing, an agreed cut-over window and a rollback procedure, and then operate the system with 24/7 monitoring.
