From systems engineering to European digital trust
We were founded in 1998 as a systems engineering firm: integration, bespoke development and industrial systems for companies that needed technology to solve a concrete production problem. Very soon one need recurred in almost every project: communicating with customers, employees and machines reliably and, when required, with legal certainty.
That is how Mensatek, our communications platform, was born, and with it the decision that defines the company: to build and operate the infrastructure ourselves. Our own data centres, certified security and, finally, recognition as a Trust Service Provider under the eIDAS Regulation, with qualified timestamping valid across the European Union.
Today the same engineering that integrates systems and deploys computer vision is the one that certifies millions of communications. It is not diversification: it is the same principle applied to different problems. If a system has to work always and be provable afterwards, we do it from start to finish.
